The Eclipse Season is with us again! The Scorpio New Moon which will fall on October 25, will also be a Partial Solar Eclipse with the luminaries at 2 degrees and 00 minutes of Scorpio. As you can see in the map for its path below we will miss seeing it in Australia, it would interestingly appear to be centered over Russia and Ukraine. Hmmmm.

This eclipse is part of the Series 6 South which began on March 6 1049, over the South Pole. Bernadette Brady describes the energy as being ”forceful and taking power, with a manic flavor, great force or strength manifesting in the relationship area. Individuals may experience sudden events, like falling in or out of love, or sudden sexual encounters. The individual may exert a huge effort in some group activity”. This same energy will apply to the Total Lunar Eclipse Taurus Full Moon at 18 degrees 01’ on November 8. It will also be barely visible in Eastern Australia, but this doesn’t mean we won’t feel the effects!
The Scorpio New Moon/Partial Solar Eclipse that will fall on October 25, will be at 9.50 pm in the evening. The luminaries will be at 2 degrees and 00 minutes of Scorpio, it’s 3rd degree. (Remember each degree goes from 0‘ to 59’!) The Sabian Symbol is “A house-raising party in a small village enlists the neighbor’s co-operation”. This talks about the feeling of community demonstrated in a basic joint effort or simply just co-operation! Venus will have made her rare Libra superior conjunction, Star Point to the Sun, at 29 degrees 24 minutes of the sign, less than 3 days before on October 23 at 7.30 am. The first in Libra in our lifetime! The Sun and Moon will still be tightly applying by conjunction to Venus at the time of the Full Moon.
Pluto the planet of magic, transformation, and refinement, finished his retrograde cycle for 2023 on October 9. He is the ruler or dispositor of this lunation/eclipse, through his modern rulership of the sign of Scorpio.
