Aquarius Full Moon

The Aquarius Full Moon will fall on the 12 August, at 11.35 am (AEST) at 19 degrees and 21 minutes of the sign, with the Sabian Symbol for the Moon in the 20th degree of Aquarius, “A large white dove bearing a message”, the response from spirit to through, sustained, and victorious individual efforts, signifying certification of what has been achieved.

The Moon will be applying to conjunct her dispositor, Saturn by 2 degrees and 44 minutes. However, Saturn will be in reflective mode, being in retrograde motion and so will provide a steadying constraint to some of her excesses.

The Sun will be moving from having made an exact square to Uranus on  the previous day, August 11 so creativity will be abounding. The symbol for the Sun in the 20th degree of Leo is “Zuni Indians perform a ritual to the Sun”. A return to the glorification of natural energies, identification through worship!

The lunation along with Saturn will form close square aspects to the Nodal Axis with South Node in Scorpio and Mars, Uranus and North Node in Taurus. All this Fixed energy is likely to result in entrenched inflexible positions taken by people around you, and indeed by yourself.

Mars will trine Pluto, and the pair will both form productive sextiles to Neptune.

Venus will widely oppose Pluto, she will enter  the sign of Leo at 4.30 am, a few hours prior to the Full Moon. Be mindful of manipulation in your relationships, either being applied to you or by you!

Pallas Athena has been associated with  many archetypes associated with feminine wisdom and justice. She originated in Libya amongst the African Amazons, as the triple snake goddess Neith, mothered by Metis, with emanations as Pallas, Athena and Medusa. Later repudiating her matriarchal origins, to have been born from the head of Zeus, fully clothed in armour. In Athens, she was venerated as Athena Hygeia, responsible for  health as well systems of civilization and justice. The Romans named her Minerva.

Pluto has been making a stellium with the asteroids Minerva and Metis in a stellium since the Capricorn Full Moon which will remain in orb right through the next three lunar cycles to November. The asteroid Pallas Athena can be seen here to be in close opposition to Medusa, whilst Hygeia is making a wide conjunction to the South Node.

I have written an article about the connections between these Pallas Athena archetypes in the latest edition of “Timelords” the CIA quarterly magazine that can be accessed free of charge at https://cosmicintelligenceagency.com/
