The Cancer New Moon will be at 4.31 am, on July 18, at 24 degrees and 56 minutes of Cancer, its 25th degree. The Sabian Symbol being “A willful man is overshadowed by a descent of superior power”, the response of spiritual forces to the integration of personality, through positive willful endeavors, that is endowment; the sign of true inner strength!
The Moon is most comfortable, and able to act according to her true nature, in this the sign of her rulership. However, Cancer is initiating water, so you need to take this powerful opportunity to wash out your old conditioning and balance, not suppress any side of your nature. Nurturing will be emphasized, whether self-care, or feeling urged to take care of others around you.
The Luminaries will be closely conjunct the asteroid Mnemosyne, Goddess of Memory and Keeper of Histories from the Past. As the Nodal Axis ingresses at 6 am, the North Node at 29 Aries 59’ and South Node at 29 Libra 59’, will also be tightly squared by Pluto retrograde at 29 degrees and 13’ of Capricorn, forming an OOS Grand Square with the powerful, transformative asteroid Hekate, at 0 degrees and 36’ minutes of Leo!
Hekate is the powerful Titan Goddess of Transformation and the Crossroads. In opposition to Pluto, she will be steering us all towards eliminating all that is not authentic, from the transformative decisions we are impelled to make. Of course, with the Sun and Moon in the sign of Cancer, the more general energetic focus will have been placed on:
