Venus in Virgo

Venus enters the sign of Virgo at 7.06 pm (AEST), ready to meet Mars on Sunday at 3.04 am!    Love will need to make sense and have a purpose rather than just be fun and something you enjoy as it has been while Venus has been hanging out with the Sun in Leo.  You will want to do more to help those that you love, but will need to be careful that you are not too critical of yourself or of those you love around you!  Venus in Virgo likes things to be done right!  You will judge how much you are loved by what others do for you, rather than how they compliment you and pump up your tyres.

This week the energy is gradually changing from the sense of fun and being loved you have experienced with Leo, turning into making things happen, sorting out the finer details and putting the right building blocks into place.  Mars  started things off, entering Virgo on Sunday.  The Sun will follow Venus there on Friday evening.  Then Mercury enters Virgo on August 29, the sign in which he is both in rulership and exalted, so his strongest position!  This will be less than a day before the Moon joins the Sun for the Virgo New Moon on August 30!

More than usual, its time to get real about instituting new routines that can result in improvements to your health like exercise, eating more healthily and drinking less alcohol!  Being closer to nature and what is natural to your body.

You may have begun today with a few problems, feeling a little out of sorts as the Moon in Aries was merging energy with Eris the Goddess of Strife and Disharmony from 1 am to 5 am this morning.  Mercury and Saturn are also a little at odds with each other so it wasn’t easy to work out how best to work your way through the issues.  However by 8.04 pm this evening Mercury will combine favorably with Jupiter, opening up your mind and enabling you to see the big picture more clearly.

You will end the day feeling optimistic about the future and able to see the glass half full instead of half empty.  New information will come to light enhancing your understanding of the situation
