Venus will retrograde back into Pisces on March 27 at 7.40 pm, just before the Partial Solar Eclipse with the Aries New Moon, on March 29 at 9.57 pm. The Eclipse Shadow Path will focus on Canada and Greenland too far away for us to view in Australia. I wonder if there will be further development in Trump’s plans for this area of the world?
The Sun and Moon will combine energy at 19 degrees and 24 minutes of Aries, the Sabian symbol for this 20th degree of Aries is “A young girl feeding birds in winter” demonstrating the transmutation of life into love through overcoming crisis by compassion! Let’s hope to see this play out on the world stage. However, the first decan of Aries is ruled by Mars and named “Dominion”, so it doesn’t seem likely!
Bernadette Brady describes the energy of this eclipse series, Saros 9 New North, which started at the North Node on August 21 1664, as physically expressive relating to physical efforts and events, violence and other occurrences. These could be positive, like with first time experiences with snow or water skiing, or involve accidents and less pleasant events. The best approach may be to keep an ever-watchful eye to safety rather than hide-away.
The luminaries will be applying in a 2 degree conjunction with minor planetary bodies, Ariadne (Mistress of the Cretan Labyrinth), Salacia (Queen of the Sea) and Psyche (Wife of Eros), which have elements of assistance and resolution, but this doesn’t look terribly helpful.
Uranus will be making a productive sextile to the Nodal Axis, which could provide some support. However the North Node is in a tight stellium with retrograde Venus, and Mercury, plus Neptune is in the anaretic degree, very close to moving into Aries .
With the Sun and Moon coming together in the sign of Aries, the energy focus is as always on:
• Starting new initiatives or projects, having new ideas
• Putting yourself first, only getting involved in activity which benefit you personally
• Taking the lead, guiding other people
• Being active, getting involved in competition or competitive sport as an individual
• Going with the flow, letting other people take the lead
• Taking risks and trying to exceed your personal best performances
• Being independent and decisive
The area most aligned with the position of the New Moon can be best gleaned from your natal horoscope chart, however if you only know your Sun Sign, then affirmations around the areas indicated on the next page are likely to be the most powerful, but some adjustment may be required to the life areas below:
