The Libra Full Moon will take place on April 13 at 10.22 am and 23 Libra 19’ the 24th degree. This Full Moon is the first of Spring in the Northern Hemisphere so traditionally called the Pink Flower Moon. The Sabian Symbol for Luna is “A butterfly with a third wing on its left side” this represents the ability to develop new modes of response to life situations, for inner strengthening, that is original mutation.
Venus, ruler of Libra will Station Direct at 11.04 am, less than an hour later at 24 Pisces 39’ making an awkward quincunx aspect to the Moon. The Moon will be conjunct asteroid Nemesis, Goddess of Retribution, responsible for restoring divine faith and order. Your feelings may be somewhat erratic as a result, making it difficult to start moving forward with your plans for a few days.
The corresponding symbol for Sol at the 24th degree of Aries is “Blown inward by the wind, the curtains of an open window take the shape of a cornucopia” that is openness to the influx of spiritual energies or transpersonal forces. The Sun will be moving away from a partile conjunction with Chiron in Aries, illuminating any wound held to self-confidence or self-expression and encouraging you to attend to them.
There will be a tight square from the luminaries to asteroid Eos the Dawn, further highlighting a need to focus on new beginnings.
A wider square will exist to Mars in Cancer, so it will be best to speak up when you are unhappy with the behavior of others, rather than risk holding a grudge.
The Moon was so bright out in the sky preceding its fullness, be mindful of what you are bringing into focus and don’t allow yourself to be deterred from your course!
