chiron-in-ariesThe Moon in Cancer began today in concert with the asteroid Asteria from 0.30 am until she moved into Leo at 2.20 am (AEDT).   Ironically Asteria is the Goddess of Astrology as well as the darker oracles of the Underworld and the Night, so she is a patron of astrologers.
We have a major astrological event today when Chiron the Wounded Healer leaves Pisces for Aries at 8.07 pm, where he will remain for the next 8 years, until April 2027! By this time the Moon will be merging energy with the asteroid Kepler from 7 pm to 10 pm. Kepler is another archetype of astrology, named for Johannes Kepler who invented Harmonic Astrology and the use of a much broader range of aspects or connections between the planetary bodies, that we are able to use today! Who says the asteroids are just lumps of rock and don’t bring greater meaning to our work!!!
The Sun will play his part by making exact his productive sextile to Uranus in Aries at 6.54 pm. Uranus in in the last anaretic degree of Aries, so this energy will bring you the ability to finish off things which have needed healing for a long time in an exciting and authentic way.
Chiron has only been in the world’s consciousness since he was discovered in Taurus in 1977. So although many of you in the generation born from 1969 to 1976 have Chiron in Aries in your natal charts, this is the first time you are likely to be able to heal your wounds through becoming truly aware and understanding what they have meant to you.
Chiron in Aries is a wound to your self-worth, self-confidence and self-belief, a feeling a being unwanted, uncentered, unfocused and lacking solidity. Your healing journey is around finding the courage to search for self and identity, finding your special gifts and purpose in life.
This applies to all of us not just those born with Chiron in Aries. Initially the healing may start with some unpleasant realisations as Venus is set to connect with Saturn in Capricorn at 9.51 pm. However this won’t last long as Venus moves through the Zodiac fairly quickly!
