The Aquarian Full Moon will be on August 9 at 5.56 pm (AEST), at 16 degrees and 59 minutes of the sign, the 17th degree of Aquarius. The Sabian Symbol for the Moon will be, “A watchdog stands guard, protecting his master and his possessions”, The development of the capacity to protect oneself and to safeguard one’s individual rights under complex social pressures, the need for protection!

The symbol for the Sun in the 17th degree of Leo is “A volunteer church choir singing religious hymns”. The feeling of togetherness that unites men and women in their dedication to a collective ideal, togetherness.

Pluto, Neptune and Uranus will be forming a Minor Grand Trine or “Talent Triangle” which will continue for quite a long period of time. This will be Out of Sign (OOS) at times due to retrograde cycles, but will continue to form Kite patterns with lunations, planets and asteroids until way after the eclipse season in September. Blue aspect triangles are said to bring reserves of abundant abilities enabling us to be expressive, competent, skilful and to be able to work successfully to achieve harmony.

The sextiles in the Minor Grand Trine bring more likelihood of a productive approach, whereas the Grand Trine can lead to laziness and a degree of complacency that the energies will flow together seamlessly, producing the desired result. The trine between Uranus in Gemini and Pluto in Aquarius brings a powerful synergy of innovation and transformation. Revolutionary ideas can spread rapidly and the future could be reshaped fairly rapidly with advances in inovative thinking. Collective change and breakdowns in social systems could reshape the future. We may experience heightened intuition, intellectual awakening, and the urge to challenge outdated systems. Change will feels less disruptive and more inspiring, so will progress organically and collaboratively.

The sextile from Neptune to Pluto will bring about the need to accept changes that are happening around us and it may involve accepting that beliefs and opinions that we have held all our life are invalid. Whereas, the sextile from Pluto to Neptune will heighten our interest in spiritual matters and open up our thinking to accept concepts we might have considered before, opening our minds to consider the big picture for humanity more. New levels of consciousness will be possible.

When standing alone, the blue triangles can be more passive and need to be stimulated into action by the environment around them, through a harder red aspect! This is where the opposition in the Kite aspect pattern creates the possibility for a more dynamic and successful outcome. The sextiles create a focused outlet for the energy, where they meet, the focal point. The house in which this occurs, can give us an indication of which area of life this will apply to.

The opposition point, from the remaining corner of the Grand Trine, suggests what talents and skills may be needed, to assist achievement! Awareness will also be created of the spiritual and creative potential that exists within the Grand Trine, and how it can be expressed outwardly, in a loving and less selfish manner. The Kite patterns has as the focal point, the conjunction between Neptune and Saturn in the Aries First House. So, the area of life affected will be, the way the community chooses to react to the circumstances we find ourselves in. What kind of role we choose to take as a “Spiritual Warrior” and how much we allow love and compassion to influence our direction!

At the Aquarius Full Moon Mars in Libra and asteroid Astarte in Virgo will initiate the Kite, through making a Grand Trine with Pluto and Urania in Aquarius on one corner, and Uranus and Sedna in Gemini on the other, (also separating from asteroid Osiris in Taurus). Mars and Astarte will be opposing Saturn and Neptune in Aries, as they apply to asteroid Hopi in conjunction. An ancient Caananite Goddess, Astarte was the most ancient version of Venus we understand, also having dominion over war! Whereas, Mars the God of War is rather ineffective in Libra the sign of his detriment!

This tends to echo the dilemmas we face in todays collective. How we feel about the wars going on in Gaza and Ukraine at present. Many communities around the globe feel uncomfortable about the methods being employed, despite the rights or wrongs in what is being pursued! What stance should be taken, who should we support and how? Hopi represents the Ancient Wisdom of the Native American Indians, the need to preserve the rhythm and fertility of the land itself. Absolutely the opposite to the destruction we are currently seeing. Where will it have progressed to at the beginning of August?

The sextile from Pluto in Aquarius to Saturn Neptune suggests a need for transformation in the acceptance of the suffering, a need for revolution, an uprising of people, more alignment to Urania, the Muse of Astronomy and Astrology, what is written in the stars! Her role being to inspire creativity from their wisdom. Possibly to learn from studying the patterns of what was occurring the last times these planets moved into the signs they are now occupying? How can we do it better this time with this foresight?

Likewise the sextile coming from Uranus in Gemini conjunct Sedna the Goddess of Bad Choices and Unbalanced Masculine/Feminine energy! Uranus also rules Aquarius the sign Pluto has moved into, and is the very archetype of Change, Chaos and Revolution. Choices are emphasized by Gemini, linked to how we communicate and obtain information. There are too many sources and it is difficult to know which ones are accurate, hard to make the right decisions.
